Let’s build a community that doesn’t just meet our needs today -

But plans for our community’s needs tomorrow.

Auburn is a city going through rapid growth and change.

As Auburn attracts more people and becomes a larger, more diverse city, we need to build infrastructure and community that can support the people here now, and the ones who will grow up, build their lives, and retire here in the years ahead.

The people who live here now need to be able to afford to stay - whether its to raise a family, build a career, or age in place. There needs to be fair-wage jobs with strong labor protections so people can live and work in the same community. There needs to be transit options for people to get across the city for work and leisure without being reliant on a car. And there needs to be amenities, like grocery stores, restaurants, recreation areas, and community gathering spaces where everyone can access them.

Erica’s Priorities for Auburn

  1. Housing: Increase housing density and supporting infrastructure around new housing

  2. Transit: Expand transit options & help Auburn get where we’re going

  3. Community: Increase investment in community services

  4. Jobs: Attract and maintain good paying, union-represented jobs in Auburn
